| Our 1883 Bank Barn and steeply sloping site facilitate the gravity fed wine making process, a process which minimizes the need for electric pumps. Photo voltaic solar panels supply energy for all winery equipment used to bottle our wine. For heavier power production, a diesel engine-generator running on biodiesel fuel that we make ourselves, can take over from the failed grid in the event of a power outage. Guided tour includes overview of the combination of Bio-Diesel, Solar, and Wind energy incorporated in our vineyard equipment and cellar systems which allows us to reduce our energy consumption. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

The cottage combines architectural materials salvaged from a 19th C, Acadian house with cutting edge 21st C technology.
